Barack Obama’s highly controversial nuclear deal with Iran has not even been passed, and already the President has breached protocol. Surprise, surprise.
Before the August recess, Congress passed legislation in July requiring the president to hand over any and all documents and agreements pertaining to the Iran nuclear deal, at which point a 60-day period would begin for the House to review all said materials and eventually vote on whether to pass the deal.
But Obama doesn’t play by the rules. (Coincidentally, neither does Iran, which is why even Hillary Clinton doesn’t expect them to adhere to the deal if passed)
Recently, Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) traveled to Vienna, Austria, which is home to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). There, they found information which should be concerning to every American, no matter their political party.
There are side agreements in connection with the Iran nuclear deal which are being kept under lock and key by Obama and top administration officials. The president has refused to disclose any information pertaining to those side agreements to Congress, meaning he essentially expects them to pass this deal without knowing what’s in it.
Hmmm… Where have we heard that before?
His reason?
He doesn’t have the agreements to give to Congress. Yes, the President of the United States is using the “dog ate my homework” excuse.
